SuAnne Remley- Owner

SuAnne's lifelong career with horses began with a degree in Equestrian Science from Williamwoods University. In 1991, she opened her own facility, Remley Quarter Horses, where she established herself as a trainer, coach, and carded judge. Her experience, however, is not limited to AQHA alone. Over the last ten years she has crossed disciplines into hunters as well. As a multi-fasceted trainer, she has brought horses and riders along to compete and place in the Top Ten at AQHA Congress, the World Show, as well as USEF Pony Finals. She transformed Remley Quarter Horses into Remley Equestrian Center with hopes that riders from all backgrounds can experience multiple riding disciplines both at home and in the show ring.

Angie Frese- Barn Manager and Trainer

As a teenager, Angie worked as a trail guide and lesson instructor at Ace Stables in St. Louis where she learned from top trainers in the western discipline. Her partnership with SuAnne Remley began in 2010 as a student at Southeast Missouri State University. Together, they worked to found the Southeast Missouri State Equestrian team, with Angie as President and SuAnne as Coach. Under SuAnne's guidance, Angie has expanded her career in riding, training, and showing both western and hunter horses. In 2015, she took over the main position as trainer and instructor. Currently, she is working hard at expanding the lesson program and working with the ever-growing SEMO Equestrian Team.

Ashley Mann- Instructor

Growing up around horses, Ashley's competitive days did not begin until college when she joined Southeast Missouri State's Equestrian Team. Her hard working spirit took her from walk-trot to novice over fences in only a few seasons. Upon graduation, her constant presence around the barn made her an easy addition to our team in Fall of 2016. Ashley travels with our IHSA team, coaching ringside and occasionally competing in the Alumni division. In 2017, she made it to IHSA Nationals in Alumni Over Fences. During college (and beyond) Ashley was fully immersed in the hunters, frequenting local shows and jumping any horse she could. Due to her mount Mary demanding a change in pace, Ashley also began exploring the AQHA all around disciplines, making Ashley a well-rounded instructor.
